Crown Terrace Methodist Church is part of OAK - Organisation of Aberdeen Kirks- an ecumenical initiative. The original members were St. Mark's, Langstane and Crown Terrace Methodist and they were later joined by the North Church of St. Andrew. The congregations worship together at a united morning service in January each year during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, at evening Services during Holy Week and for an evening service at Crown Terrace Methodist Church at 6.30pm on the second Sunday of every month. OAK supports children in India through the Cogwheel Trust, provides shoe boxes of gifts for Romanian orphans at Christmas and raises money for charity with coffee mornings and special lunches

OAK Café is open every week from Mon to Fri. 10.00 am. - 1.00pm in the Hall at St. Mark's Church , Rosemount Viaduct serving home made soup, light lunches, bacon rolls, tea and coffee, All profits are donated to charity. The café is run by volunteers and additional helpers would be very welcome.
